Halo is part of Haygrove Ltd. We are farmers – the farm started in 1988 with 1ha of strawberries on some rented ground in Herefordshire, situated in the South West region of the UK. In the mid 90’s we started to develop a covering system for our soft fruit crops – the Haygrove Tunnel System, www.haygrove.com

The Halo Mobile began its life in 2005. The design is based on Haygrove Tunnel technology – quick to build, highly portable, customised to meet specific producer’s needs and supported in our farmer to farmer spirit.

The units are uniquely designed to provide moveable free-range accommodation that combines the latest in modern technology with the highest welfare standards for the bird.

The Halo Ranger, is built on an 8.88m width and is built in modular 2.5m sections. Options include slated sections for the placing of nest boxes and feeders, together with a dedicated indoor scratch area with ready access via pop holes to an outdoor area where the birds can roam free. The Halo Ranger comes complete with specialist fully lined professional egg rooms as required.

The Halo Mini Ranger has been especially designed for brooding, rearing and providing specialist small units for laying and broiler birds. Additionally, many game rearing farmers are now using the Halo mini mobile for rearing pheasants, partridge and other game birds. The mobile is 5m wide and built in 2.5m modular sections. It can be designed with an apex roof with a top venting system or a rounded roof complete with side and end venting.

The Halo Maxi Ranger is the latest product in the range. The building is 12m wide and is fully portable on two steel skids. The design incorporates a unique double helix roof to provide maximum strength for the mobile against wind and snow. The Maxi Ranger enables birds to roam to side scratch areas directly from the raise slatted area. Again the mobile can be supplied with a fully professional white lined egg rooms.
