The first hectare of cherries was planted at Haygrove in 1997. There are now 22 hectares of cherries grown on Haygrove at the early season site in Ledbury, as well as our late season cherries at altitude, near Kington. We grow both organic and conventional cherries.
Haygrove grows 15 varieties through the season including Stella, Summer Sun, Lappins, Karina, Kordia, Regina, Sweetheart and Penny.
These cherries are sold locally, as well as to UK supermarkets including M&S, Waitrose and Tesco.
"I must say that these are the best cherries I have ever had the pleasure of eating" Anonymous M&S customer on 2011 Sweetheart variety grown by Haygrove.
