Oriental Lilies

Uncommonly for Northern Europe we grow Lilies extensively in the soil rather than in peat, and under tunnels rather than under glass. This results in visibly better quality. We supply about 80% of the needs of Marks & Spencers in the UK season, circa 2.5 million stems. Lilies are a stunning and satisfying crop to grow, but suffer from being over-commoditised. This has dumbed down quality and resulted in there being very little local or even national supply in the UK. Consumer demand is changing rapidly to value local and we believe we are well placed to supply it.
